For those who want to go up a gear in the way of tuning, a stage 2 remap might be what you’re looking for.
In a stage two remap we use the appropriate file along with supporting modifications, to add some more power. With the added help of cat back exhaust / inter cooler and induction kit in any order or combination, you will see the best results stage 2 remap has to offer.
The stage 2 remap package consists of a stage 2 file, induction kit / inter cooler (not ultimately necessary but can be fitted if charged in any way eg. super charger or turbocharger), and finally an exhaust. Usually, a cat back or sports cat is fitted, and along side this the original exhaust is changed.
Stage 2 remapping will raise the vehicles power to nearer the limit of original manufacturer power limits. Your vehicle will still be safe after this upgrade.
